Activities for Daily Living Center

The Activities for Daily Living Center is an 1,800-square-foot ranch house which provides a home setting in which students with disabilities work on social interaction skills, personal hygiene and grooming skills, meal preparation, household maintenance, gardening and home economic skills. The physical space includes a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room and laundry area, and is modified for students having significant fine and gross motor difficulties. Students attend either a morning or afternoon session, typically once a week, combined with a classroom placement either within BOCES 2 or the student’s home district.
