Successful completion of career and technical courses results in credits toward a Regents diploma. Students are prepared for employment or postsecondary study.
Courses combine theory, applied academics, Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS) skills, and hands-on experience. Students also receive school-to-career counseling and can participate in internship and cooperative work experiences. Options may be available for students taking CTE courses to acquire necessary academic course credits in English, Math and Science.
