Homework Hotline is a television program that assists students statewide with homework four days a week. Beginning on Sept. 16, viewers have had an opportunity to learn about career and technical education thanks to the BOCES 2 CTE students and staff.
In the spring of 2015, WXXI cameras visited WEMOCO and interviews took place about the center and various programs that are offered to students. The footage has been turned into six separate segments and have begun to air during Wednesday episodes of Homework Hotline. Homework Hotline is on PBS and begins at 5:30 p.m.
“We are excited that BOCES 2 is representing career and technical education on a statewide level,” said CTE Executive Principal Jill Slavny. “Homework Hotline allows viewers to have a glimpse inside our classrooms and to learn about the opportunities our students have when they leave WEMOCO.”
