Academic Programs

High School Equivalency Diploma / ESOL
Prepare for your High School Equivalency Exam.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Learn to Speak, Understand, Read and Write in English.

Four convenient ways to learn:

  • Classroom
  • Home Study
  • Workplace
  • Online

In today's workforce, you will need a High School diploma or a High School Equivalency to qualify for jobs that are in-demand. Employers must know that you have basic skills in English (speaking, reading and writing) and Math. Growing career fields, such as Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Healthcare, also require higher skill levels in both Math and Science.

Improve your skills by participating in one of our High School Equivalency Preparation programs or English as a Second Language programs.  Individuals will have the option of enrolling in a Traditional Class or a convenient Home Study Program.

Classes are free to those who qualify! All classes are taught by NY State Certified teachers. You will also work with an instructor to develop an Individualized Education and Employment Plan that will include an assessment of your current academic skills, as well as your career interests.
