A trained Medical Office Assistant requires training in a wide variety of medical and business skills.  There are a variety of medical job settings and titles to match the skills taught.  The health profession is quickly becoming one of Rochester’s top employers. Skills taught in this program are transferable anywhere in the country.

Course content will focus on Professionalism in the Field of Medicine.  In addition, this program will include Customer Service/Communication Techniques; Phone/Email Etiquette; General Office Skills (keyboarding, filing, copying, scanning, faxing); Professional Development Skills (ethics, stress, anger & time management).
