Hospitality & Applied Skills Program

The Hospitality and Applied Skills (HaAS - 12:1:1) program provides a setting in which students with disabilities (ages 14-21) are involved in meaningful activities to build toward work-readiness. Students attending the Hospitality and Applied Skills Center (HaAS) on the Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Big Ridge Road campus have a variety of physical, social and academic abilities and needs. Students attend either morning or afternoon sessions up to five times per week, combined with a classroom placement either within BOCES 2 or the student’s home district. Hospitality and Applied Skills is an unpaid skills development program.
