Spencerport Superintendent Search

Message from Jo Anne L. Antonacci
Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES District Superintendent and Search Consultant

Dear Spencerport Central School District Community,

As you may be aware, Superintendent Michael Crumb announced his decision to retire on June 30, 2017. Best wishes to Mr. Crumb and his family.

I will serve as the consultant and assist the Spencerport Central School District Board of Education in its search for the next superintendent. In this capacity, I will guide the district through a process that outlines candidate qualifications, publicizes the opening, and provides a timeline and review process to narrow the pool and eventually provide finalists from which the board will select your next superintendent.

Stakeholder and community input is a key component of a successful search. You will find a survey that allows you the opportunity to provide the Spencerport Board of Education input on the selection of your next superintendent at or at this link. Submissions will be accepted through Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

As we narrow the pool to finalists, there will be open community Meet the Finalist Forums that we invite you to attend. Throughout the process, please direct inquiries to Jo Anne Antonacci at 585-352-2411 or

The goal is to have a new superintendent in place on or about July 2017. As the search progresses, updates will be posted to the Spencerport website.

We thank you for your continued support of the Spencerport Central Schools.
