Skills Night set for March 30

The next Skills Night of the school year will be held on Thursday, March 30 from 3-7 p.m. at WEMOCO. This event was originally scheduled for March 16.

Goods and services that will be offered include the following:

  • Auto Body and Collision Repair Technology – air brushed shirts ($7 donation)
  • Automotive Technology – Car wash ($5 donation) and car wash and wax ($20 donation). Appointments requested by calling 352-2471
  • Baking – Various treats
  • Carpentry – Custom wood signs, cutting boards, wooden bowls, Adirondack chairs
  • Certified Nurse Assisting - blood pressure screening
  • Cosmetology – Manicures ($5 donation), paraffin dip ($3 donation) and pedicures ($10 donation). Appointments can be scheduled by calling 352-2471
  • Culinary Arts – to-go dinners ($6 donation)
  • Laboratory Technology – DNA necklaces ($7 donation)
  • Personal Fitness Training - Personal fitness program ($5 donation)

There will also be gift basket raffles and many other activities.

Skills Night is an opportunity for Career and Technical students to perform services for the community. All donations will be used to support the WEMOCO SkillsUSA chapter which students can attend leadership training and competitions at the local, state, national and international level in their field of study.

WEMOCO is located at 3599 Big Ridge Road in Spencerport.
