 HomeAbout Off-Air Recording Procedures | Resources/Links

BOCES 2 component schools may request that a program be recorded from the cable networks or satellite.

How do I request that a program be recorded (i.e., off-air taping)?

  • First, get the details of the program that you want recorded. For information on potential programs, look at some listings here.
  • Fill out a request form. Filling out the form completely makes it easier to get the recording set up.
  • Contact your school librarian if you have any questions.  Feel free to contact BOCES 2 Off-Air Duplicating at 349-9094.

How do I request a program that has already aired (i.e., duplication)?

  • If a program has already aired and someone else has requested that it be recorded, we may have it in our off-air library. If no one has requested it, we may still be able to obtain a copy for you. To check on the availability of a program, use the off-air database. Be sure to check the box for off-air recording when you search.
