Holiday Connections helps 40 families in need

BOCES 2 “elves” were busy in the Holiday Connections workshop in December sorting donations for students and families in need. 40 Holiday Connections received everything from socks to shirts and blankets to books. Donations from employees helped families dealing with homelessness, disabilities, loss of loved ones, health issues, family trauma, loss of employment, lack of transportation, mental health challenges, financial difficulties and even hurricane devastation in Puerto Rico. This year, items filled 84 boxes and four gift bags, plus there were seven specially wrapped items.
