Flu Prevention Partners uses the quadrivalent vaccine which protects against 4 strains of the flu. We can immunize ages 18+ as well as pregnant women.

Please note: The flu vaccine provider (Workplace Vitality; Flu Prevention Partners) is no longer able to provide the flu vaccine to children under 18, after having done so for all the years they have come to BOCES 2. The following communication was received from Workplace Vitality, Flu Prevention Partners’ President Tiffany Passmore:

“We are sorry to share the news that WPV will no longer be administering seasonal influenza immunizations to patients under the age of 18. The decision, which was not ours to make, comes as a result of changes to New York State legislation—now, children 2 and older may only receive the vaccination via their primary care provider, the Department of Health or a registered pharmacist who is certified by the New York State Education Department (SED).”
