Description:
Join Shelley Moore, international speaker, teacher, and storyteller, for a full-day FREE workshop for families of school-aged children who have disabilities, self-advocates, and caregivers. This session will look at what inclusive education means (and doesn’t mean) in today’s classrooms and communities.
 
We will also discuss common misunderstandings and myths of inclusive education, while uncovering ways to advocate for balanced and growth-based educational programs for all students from a strength-based perspective.
 
October 24, 2018 ~ 8:15am-3:00pm
Registration is 8:15-9am; Conference is 9am-3pm.
