For teachers and administrators who are new to giving the NYSITELL: The New York State Identification Test for English Language Learners (NYSITELL) is the New York state-mandated assessment used to identify English Language Learners and initially determines the appropriate bilingual and/or ENL instructional services. Participants will examine the NYSITELL, discuss the various components, become familiar with how to administer it, and learn how to score the Speaking and Writing sections.
