Fall fields full of pumpkins and smiles
BOCES 2 students in teacher Kate McElhaney’s Neil Armstrong Elementary School class in Gates Chili visited Cobble Creek Farm on Oct. 30 for a day of rich sensory experiences, exercise, socializing and fun with friends. The trip included a tractor ride to the pumpkin fields where each child chose a pumpkin to take home. Students visited with friendly farm animals, toured the huge old barn, saw the jack o’ lantern display and tried cider.
