The Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Special Education Parent Teacher Organization (SEPTO) is composed of parents and staff from the BOCES 2 community. This group of dedicated individuals works to promote the social and learning development of students with special needs, and to support parents/guardians to raise children to their fullest potential. Volunteer community groups, such as the West Central Kiwanis and the Greece Rotary, also help to form the backbone of this organization. In addition, students from WEMOCO Career and Technical Education Center and the BOCES 2 Exceptional Children classes often volunteer to prepare for and run SEPTO events.

Throughout the year, SEPTO helps organize several social events such as Breakfast with Santa/Lunch with Santa and Spring Fun Fair. SEPTO strives to engage with parent-teacher organizations in our component districts to broaden the array of social and learning opportunities for students. SEPTO also provides educational services through parent workshops and coffee hours.

SEPTO has a Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BOCES2SEPTO to further inform our membership and community of upcoming events.
