When you are going to add equipment to the Destiny Library Manager database, please contact the Library Automation Team and we will help you. Some basic information follows.
There are two types of equipment, Short Term and Long Term. The different types are based on circulation parameters. A set of headphones or a video camera that a student can check out for a day or two would be considered short term equipment. Long term equipment circulates to teachers and staff and is borrowed for a longer period of time – a semester or an entire school year.
When adding equipment records, the needed information is put into a book record template. The item should be searched for before using the add Title button to ensure there are not existing records in the district.
