GPS Services: Navigational Services to Reinvent Yourself and Reinvent Your Future

GPS Services are designed to provide out-of-school youth aged 17 – 24 with the necessary assistance and resources to navigate the complex course ahead of them as they strive to secure an independent and stable future. Funded through the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA), the Center for Workforce Development can provide year-round services to eligible youth.
- A mentor to help with career guidance and employment, school applications, resume development and interviewing skills
- Assistance with working with social agencies to secure housing, transportation, clothing and additional services
- Financial incentives such as gift cards and bus passes for meeting pre-determined goals
You must be a resident of Monroe County between the ages of 17-24 and able to identify with at least one barrier to employment (ex., pregnant or parenting teen, foster child, youth offender, homeless, low income, basic skills deficient). Contact us if you have questions regarding your eligibility.
