EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The New York State Department of Labor Job Zone website can play a key role in meeting college and career readiness standards in the adult education classroom and help strengthen WIOA partnerships with your local One-Stop and the Department of Labor. The discussion will cover a wide range of literacy programs such as career exploration, planning, and preparation. Registering students for Job Zone is required under ALE, WIOA, and EPE funded programs. Participants will receive hands-on experience using and navigating the Job Zone website.
