WIDA ACCESS 2026–27: Materials Ordering and Testing Information
The New York State Education Department (NYSED) has released important information regarding ordering, shipping, and storing materials for the 2026–27 WIDA ACCESS and Alternate ACCESS assessments.
Testing Window
The 2026–27 WIDA ACCESS and WIDA Alternate ACCESS testing window is:
February 1 – April 9, 2027
Districts and schools administering WIDA assessments should review all procedures for ordering, receiving, securing, and storing testing materials throughout the testing window.
Materials Ordering
All WIDA ACCESS and Alternate ACCESS test materials must be ordered through the WIDA Assessment Management System (AMS).
Initial Materials Ordering Window:
- October 6 – November 2, 2026
Test coordinators with active WIDA AMS accounts should receive an email on September 29, 2026, containing detailed ordering instructions.
Important: This email will be sent by WIDA's assessment partner, Data Recognition Corporation (DRC) from:

Need a WIDA AMS Account?
- School staff requiring access should contact their district's ELL Testing Coordinator.
- ELL Testing Coordinators who do not have a WIDA AMS account should:
- Update their information in My Contacts within the NYSED Business Portal.
- Verify the update appears in SEDREF.
- Contact DRC Customer Service to request account creation:
