The event, held on May 13 and May 15 at the BOCES 2 Professional Development Center in Spencerport, provides employers with a direct link to students who have industry training, certifications and the knowledge to contribute to the workforce.
Each session is tailored to specific industries. Employers attending on Tuesday, May 13 will meet students in fields such as healthcare, IT, cosmetology, criminal justice and digital media. The session on Thursday, May 15 will focus on skilled trades, including automotive technology, carpentry, electrical, welding and HVAC. Representatives will have the chance to network with students, discuss opportunities and identify potential hires.
