CIPD Welcomes New Employees!

The Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Development is excited to announce four of its new employees!

Kayla Garrison
KaylaKayla joined BOCES 2 this fall as an Instructional Support Specialist with a focus on math and special education.

Before joining us, she was a special education teacher in Rush Henrietta serving in several roles such as a consultant teacher, integrated co-teacher and a special class teacher. She has always had a passion for math and therefore pursued a degree in both math and education.

Kayla is a Brockport alumni and currently resides in Hamlin with her husband and two children. For fun Kayla enjoys outdoor activities with her family such as camping and gardening.





Melissa Black
MelissaWe would like to extend a warm welcome to Melissa Black! She has joined BOCES 2 this summer in the capacity of Administrative Support. She has worked within some of our component districts over the past decade and has a strong academic background.

Melissa is a Hilton alumni and currently resides there with her husband and two young daughters. For fun Melissa likes to spend time with her family and has a passion for interior design.






Adrienne Loftus
AdrienneAdrienne Loftus has recently joined the Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Development as a Teacher Immersion Fellows Program Coordinator!

She spent the last eight years at Wheatland-Chili MS/HS, and four years before that at Canandaigua Academy. In both districts, she served as an ELA teacher, working with students in classes ranging from ELA 8 to AP Language and Composition. She also served as the ELA Department Curriculum Leader and the liaison for the School Climate and Culture Committee at Wheatland-Chili.

Adrienne grew up in Orchard Park (where the Buffalo Bills play!), and is a Canisius College, The College at Brockport, and Niagara University alumni.

She has been married to her husband, Andrew, for 14 years and counting! They love to travel to Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, and Montana.


Tricia Nesbitt
Tricia Nesbitt comes to the Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Development as an Administrative Assistant from ... across the hall at Mid-West RBERN!

In February 2023 she will have been at BOCES for 21 years. She started in the Department for Exceptional Children working as a program secretary in the special education department also secretary in the records and transportation and as the secretary to the assistant director of the department, and most recently worked at Mid-West RBERN as the department secretary.

She is married and has a 23-year-old son, two rescue dogs (Ruby and Riley) and one cat (Seven - because she’s a polydactyl!).
Tricia loves boating, traveling and dreaming about retiring.
