CTE welcomes new staff members

The Career and Education Center (CTE) at WEMOCO is pleased to welcome four new staff members this year.
 
Nina Barbero joins CTE as the Exercise Science teacher. She was a graduate assistant at SUNY Brockport, where she earned her bachelor and master degrees.  Barbero was also a substitute teacher at Fairport CSD and a manager at Burn Boot Camp in Webster.

Jennifer Hunt brings 20 years of special education experience to CTE as the Instructional Specialist for Special Education. She previously worked in the Williamson CSD, Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES and Rochester City School District. Hunt earned her degrees from Roberts Wesleyan and D’Youville.

Richard Keefer is the new Introduction to Construction Trades teacher. He was previously a long-term substitute in math for the Rochester City School District. Keefer earned degrees from SUNY Potsdam and SUNY Empire State.

Leslie Tanner returns to WEMOCO as a math teacher. She was previously a coordinator at Orleans/Niagara BOCES and was a STEM coach at WEMOCO for five years. Tanner earned her degrees from Alfred University and Otterbein University.
