Student retrieval/return plan for CTE students

With Governor Cuomo’s official announcement on May 1st that schools will continue with e-learning through the end of the school year, students should plan to retrieve personal belongings from the school and return borrowed items.

Please stay home if you or someone in your family is ill or if you or someone in your family has traveled abroad to a location where a travel advisory has been issued in the past 14 days.

Retrieval/Return Procedure

• Park in the assigned lot as indicated below.
• Face coverings must be worn and social distancing should be practiced. Please bring one from home.
• You will enter building through your assigned door indicated below. Staff will be signing in/out each student and will be monitoring the number of students in the building at one time. Expect to wait outside in marked spaces that are at least 6 feet apart.
• When directed by staff to enter building, go straight to your classroom.
• Only students are allowed in the building to retrieve/return items. Family members, friends, etc. are not allowed to wait with students or enter the buildings.
• When in classroom, your teacher will be there to direct you. You will get any personal belongings from locker, classroom or lab area and there will be a designated spot in the room to return any borrowed items.
• When you have your belongings, you should exit through the hall out the same door you entered and sign out with staff.
• Each student will have 10 minutes to retrieve/return items when they arrive. This is not a time to meet up with friends and socialize.
• There will be no access to restrooms during retrieval.

Student Belonging Pick up and Return of Borrowed Items

The schedule below is intended to minimize the number of people in the building to promote social distancing.

For families of essential workers, if pick up time does not work, we can create an alternative time. Please email Nancy Zambuto [email protected] to tell us availability, student name, and class by Friday, June 5, 2020.  Also if a student cannot enter the building for health reasons, you may also email Nancy Zambuto [email protected] and arrange for curbside delivery. You may call and leave a voicemail with any questions at our main office number 585-352-2471.

Student schedule for retrieval/return of items:
