Imaginations run wild for Halloween

Students and teachers at Westside Jr./Sr. High Academy got into the Halloween spirit this year by painting and decorating pumpkins. Classrooms up and down the school’s hallways were filled with laughter and seasonal, not-too-scary music. Each artist concentrated on their own vision, ranging from pretty and pink with pompoms or carefully painted with tiny graphic flowers to ghostly white, purple or green pumpkins with bright faces, strings of spiders or sparkly stick-ons. Just goes to show that we’re never too old for Halloween and being creative is always fun.
