Description:
This session focuses on bringing current immigration issues into the classroom through literature. The video also shows how schools can collaborate with immigrant advocacy organizations, and make stronger connections with families. This series of workshops is based on a four-part video series and resource guide that provide information and illustrate successful practices in order to support educators in creating safe and welcoming environments for immigrant students and families.
