As an ELL Coordinator, there may be new responsibilities and new regulatory requirements for you. This session is intended to provide an overview of the things you want and need to know in order to fulfill your duties with confidence. There will be an overview of CR Part 154 (regulations governing state mandates for ELLs) and tools to help you know and anticipate certain requirements for districts when reporting on their ELL populations. There will be a review of terminology and best practices in programs for ELLs in all settings.
This meeting will be held in person, at Monroe 2 Orleans BOCES, and for those who prefer, you can participate via Zoom. Both options are available. It will not be recorded.
