Teacher Samantha Fowler and her wonderful BOCES 2 team at Brockport HS have been helping students learn about our moon! They recreated the four major lunar phases with cream-filled chocolate cookies, replicating each phase by scraping the white frosting off. (I think the new moon would be my favorite - how about you? Yum.)
The students enjoyed the learning experience and, of course, got to eat their lunar snacks afterwards.
