We appreciate everyone’s patience as we continue to communicate ever-changing guidance regarding quarantine and isolation protocols.
Monroe County has released 3 revised algorithms containing the most recent protocols for isolation and quarantine. Please review each algorithm carefully. We wish we could neatly summarize the algorithms, however, each represents a different scenario with different steps based on vaccination status. When you find yourself in a scenario, you should consult the appropriate algorithm and follow the precise steps based on your vaccination status.
- PreK-12 Student/Teacher/ Staff is fully vaccinated and boosted OR fully vaccinated and not yet eligible for a booster – KNOWN EXPOSURE TO COVID-19
- PreK-12 Student/Teacher/Staff with NO known exposure has a temperature >100° OR exhibits new or unusual symptoms of COVID-19
- PreK-12 Student/Teacher/Staff is not fully vaccinated OR fully vaccinated and eligible for a booster but not yet boosted – KNOWN EXPOSURE TO COVID-19
Monroe County and most of the surrounding counties have moved to self-reporting for positive at-home COVID tests and/or isolation/quarantine order requests. Below are links to the various county websites.
