Preparing for a future of fun
Student riding special ice bikeThe students in Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Transition programs are determined not to miss any of the exciting indoor or outdoor activities their community offers. Thanks to adventurous occupational therapist Cindy Neil-Webster and physical therapist Sheryl Trask, students have been visiting many local places to learn about all the supports available to persons with disabilities. After high school, these young adults will now be better prepared to confidently move around the community exploring their interests. Here are some pictures from a recent trip to the skating rink at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park in downtown Rochester. Fresh air, healthy fun and good times with friends!
