Workforce Development

BOCES 2 Workforce Development connects students, adult learners, educators, employers, and community partners with opportunities that support post-secondary and workforce success. Through innovative programs and regional partnerships, we help individuals build skills, earn credentials, and prepare for in-demand careers.

Our work includes:

  • Adult Education: At the Center for Workforce Development, we support adult learners with high school equivalency preparation, English language instruction, workforce training and career readiness services.
  • Early College Access: We partner with school districts and colleges to help students earn college credit while still in high school at no cost to students and families.
  • Monroe County Business and Education Alliance (BEA): We connect educators, employers, and workforce partners to expand career awareness, work-based learning opportunities, and pathways that prepare students for future careers.
Together, we are building pathways to opportunity and strengthening the future workforce of our region.
