There is an urgent need in ELL education to shift toward collaboration, joint responsibility, and shared decision making. "If we can assume mutual ownership, if we can connect instruction to all children's personal, social, cultural, and linguistic identities, then all students will achieve." Join MidWest RBERN for a 20 hour summer asynchronous book club using the Corwin publishes book "Breaking Down the Wall: Essential Shifts for English Leaners' Success. This course will run from July 1-September 1, 2023. Participants will need to purchase the book on their own. All registrants will receive a link to the Schoology course prior to the start of the course.
