Every summer, students in grades nine and above gain experience with advanced/smart manufacturing in the three-week Summer Advanced Manufacturing Program, or SAME. They learn and practice skills in CNC machining, mills, lathes, blueprints, CAD/CAM, and Fusion 360. The program is free for participants with support from Monroe County, and everyone who completes the program earns three Monroe Community College credits. In addition to working in the machining lab, the participants take field trips to local advanced manufacturing companies. Registration for SAME is available in the spring at http://monroe2boces.org/SAME
