The Extended School Year Program is for children, ages 3-22, who have severe disabilities and are in need of a full-year program to sustain their learning and maintain their developmental levels. Students will receive instruction and/or intervention as specified in their Individual Educational Plan (IEP).
The program is conducted for a 30-day period during the summer months of July and August. Referrals to the program are made by the local school district Committee on Special Education (CSE) for school-age children, and by the local school district Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE).
