Getting Started
The special education year-end reporting period requires exports from your student management and special education reporting systems. Cooperation between the CSE and CPSE committees, Registrar, District Data Coordinator (DDC), and PPS/building administrators is necessary to facilitate the upload, verification, and certification of the data within the established deadlines. Data is reviewed prior to certification in the PD Data System using PD Data System reports in combination with WYNRIC Level 1 and SIRS Level 2 reports.

Data Due Dates:
- All demographic, enrollment, program fact, COSF assessment, and SE Year-End Snapshot data must be reported to Level 2 prior to the SIRS data repository locking in late August. Check the SEDCAR Table of Due Dates for more information.
- SE Events capture data through August 31 and need to be updated after that date and prior to certification in September. Only the SE Events can be uploaded after the Level 2 repository locks in late August, so be sure that any corresponding demographics and enrollments have been uploaded to Level 0 and moved through SIRS prior to the repository closing.
