The Exceptional Children (EC) Parent Portal
is one of many ways to keep in touch with your student’s academic progress, and is available to all registered parents. The EC Parent Portal is a component of the Schooltool student database program, and allows registered parents and legal guardians to access their student’s academic information.
Due to the unexpected school closures, we are seeing what a valuable resource the Parent Portal can be. To ensure parents have the most up-to-date information regarding their child’s academic progress, parents will be able to access report cards, IEP and AIS progress reports and Work Based Learning evaluations on the Parent Portal. The registration process can be completed on-line at this link. Registration for an EC Parent Portal account requires a valid email account and a completed online EC Parent Portal Registration Form.

*Please note that due to the nature of the information available through the EC Parent Portal, registrations will not be accepted if a parent or guardian is NOT listed as a contact in the SchoolTool Database. BOCES 2 will need to confirm emergency contact status through the student’s home school. Once your information has been verified and your account has been created, you will receive a password to your registered email address.
