The ACT WorkKeys Assessments measure essential workplace skills, including:
- Applied Math – Using mathematical reasoning for workplace problems
- Graphic Literacy – Understanding and analyzing workplace graphics
- Workplace Documents – Reading and applying written information on the job
Students earn the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) at four levels (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum), validating their workforce readiness. This credential bridges classroom learning to career success and can serve as an alternative to traditional assessments.
By attending, your school may even be equipped to receive a NCRC Jumpstart Kit, enabling a small group of students to benefit from deeper learning related to the WorkKeys assessments, courtesy of Monroe County Industrial Development Corporation (MCIDC).
