BRIAN P. RILEY, ESQ.
was born and raised in Greece, New York and graduated cum laude from SUNY Brockport with dual degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science. In 2000, Brian received his Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland State University.
While in law school, Brian served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Cleveland State Law Review. After law school, Brian worked for two Cleveland law firms where his primary focus was representing management in labor and employment law matters. In 2010, Brian was named as a Rising Star by his peers in the area of Labor and Employment Law. After returning to the Rochester area, Brian continued his representation of clients in the area of Labor and Employment Law. Throughout his career, Brian has had the privilege of representing clients in local, state, and federal courts. Brian has also represented clients before various administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York Division of Human Rights, and the New York State Department of Labor.
As a Labor Relations Specialist for BOCES, Brian will focus on issues in Labor Law, Education Law, Negotiations and Workplace Investigations. He will also serve as a Hearing Officer in administrative proceedings.
