This part-time Machining program
prepares you for a career in the Machining industry in only 15 weeks. Using the "learn while you earn" model, our evening course will cover topics such as blueprint reading, machine shop math, drilling, tapping, and reaming. Receive your industry recognized OSHA-10 certificate and gain experience operating the Lathe, Mill, and basics of CNC Machining. The program also provides a hybrid learning model that blends skill-building in the machine lab with remote learning hours that can count toward an apprenticeship. This course was created to enable you to maintain employment during that day while completing this program. You will get the opportunity to see if machining is the right fit for you, receive training in the essential aspects of the occupation, open doors with local employers, and build connections that will set you on a pathway for a successful career.
