Spencerport CSD Superintendent Search

Dear Spencerport Central School District Community,

Superintendent Daniel Milgate has announced his plans to retire effective January 4, 2021. The Spencerport Board recognizes Mr. Milgate for his contributions to the district and extends best wishes to him in retirement.

The Board of Education has appointed former Churchville-Chili Central School Superintendent Dr. Pamela Kissel as interim superintendent effective January 5, 2021. Dr. Kissel not only has experience as a superintendent but also decades of general and special education instructional experience both at the building and district levels. A warm welcome is extended to her. Pam is looking forward to working with the Spencerport staff and community in the New Year.

In my role as Monroe 2-0rleans BOCES District Superintendent, I will serve as a consultant and assist the Spencerport Central School District Board of Education in its search for the next superintendent. In this capacity, the consultant guides the district through a process that outlines candidate qualifications, publicizes the opening, and provides a timeline for the search process. A survey will be emailed to staff and arrive in Spencerport resident homes the week of November 9, 2020 to provide the board feedback. The goal is to have a new superintendent in place by July 2021.

All questions or comments are to be directed to me at 585-352-2411 or [email protected].

Thank you for your continued support of the Spencerport Central School District. We look forward to working with you in the coming months.

Jo Anne L. Antonacci
