Component Superintendent Resources
Dear Brockport Central School District Community,
I’m writing this correspondence on behalf of the Brockport Central School District’s Board of Education. As you are aware, Superintendent Dr. Lesli Myers-Small has accepted a position with the New York State Education Department as Assistant Commissioner of Innovation and School Reform effective January 6, 2020. The Brockport Board recognizes Dr. Myers-Small for her contributions to the district and extends best wishes to her in her new position.
The Board of Education has appointed former Brockport superintendent James Fallon as interim superintendent effective January 6, 2020. A warm welcome is extended to Mr. Fallon.
In my role as Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES District Superintendent, I will serve as a consultant and assist the Brockport Central School District Board of Education in its search for the next superintendent. In this capacity, the consultant guides the district through a process that outlines candidate qualifications, publicizes the opening, and provides a timeline for the search process.
The Brockport Board of Education would like to thank everyone who completed the online Community Feedback survey and attended the information-gathering forums. We received more than 300 surveys which provided valuable feedback for the board to consider as they evaluate the abilities and experiences of applicants to be the next superintendent.
The next step in the search process is to post the position for approximately six weeks. During this time the applicant materials will be received, and the board will review them using the community’s input as their guide in selecting individuals to interview. The goal is to have a superintendent in place by July 2020.
All questions or comments are to be directed to Jo Anne Antonacci at 585-352-2411 or
We thank you for your continued support of the Brockport Central Schools.
Jo Anne L. Antonacci
