One student wearing protective medical clothing helps another student, who is acting as a patient, transfer from a hospital bed into a wheelchair Students learn the fundamentals of patient care and skills necessary for entry level employment in any health care field such as nursing homes, hospitals and home health care. Students work directly with patients in clinical settings.

Education Requirements: CNAs will need to complete a nursing assistant training program. Candidates will need to take and pass the New York State Nurse Aide Certification Examination.
