This component of Project ADEPT is
designed for high school students (grades 9-12). The High School Seminar
Series consists of 12 seminars, which are scheduled periodically over
the course of the school year.
-
Seminars take place at a central location, usually the BOCES Educational Services Center (ESC).
-
Selected students from each participating school join together with students from other schools to explore a topic of interest.
-
Students are selected for each individual seminar based on their interests, abilities, and talents.
-
Seminars cover a wide range of topics and are viewed as "professional development" opportunities for students.
-
Students use the transportation network already in place for the WEMOCO Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center.
