It can be difficult for young people to get out and become familiar with all the resources and activities their community offers. At Westview in the Department for Exceptional Children, fieldtrips are used to help introduce students to what it means to be part of a community.

Joshua Padlick has been named a winner of the 2022 Carl J. Schaefer Memorial CTE Teacher Candidate Award presented by the NOCTI Board of Trustees. Padlick is a Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES career and technical education (CTE) welding teacher.
Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES will host COVID-19 vaccine booster clinics Friday, Dec. 16, 2022 and Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the PD Center at 3599 Big Ridge Road, Spencerport, 14559. This clinic will be open to the public.
Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES District Superintendent Jo Anne L. Antonacci was selected as one of Rochester Business Journal’s ICON Honors recipients for 2022. The award recognizes exceptional area business leaders who have moved their organizations forward by making a difference to the community. The award was presented at a reception on Dec. 5.
