Monroe County is offering Pfizer vaccine at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center on Wednesday, April 14 (1-7pm), Thursday, April 15 (noon-7pm), Friday, April 16 (noon-7pm) and Saturday, April 17 (noon-6pm).

So far during the pandemic, BOCES 2 has had a very low rate of COVID-19 infections for both students and staff. While there is no requirement for any BOCES student, 16 or older, to get vaccinated for COVID-19 to attend school, the more students and staff who are vaccinated, the less opportunity for the virus to spread. The Pfizer vaccine is currently the only vaccine approved by the FDA for children under 18 years old.
